Sent out our monthly newsletter over the weekend which tells everyone all our achievements over the last month on the website, including this blog, a Sports Page and a Features Page.

We also have on board a Travel Writer - who caters for ‘normal’ budgets which are afforable and easily accessible too!

We are planning our first birthday next month - so thiings are looking good.

Am curently doing a course in Photoshop, so I will (hopefully) be able to upgrade the graphics on the site to look even more professional!

Well the worst day of the working week is now over, and I’m just about to open a bottle of red wine, so until next time, cheers

Well it’s my favourite day of the working week - Friday!   Having a takeaway tonight and opening a bottle of wine later to share with my long-suffering husband, who as we speak is on his way home from work.

I’ve been on Radio Nottingham Today (see the news story) on the Frances Finn show which goes out daily between 9am and noon.

I was on the ‘Loose Women’ Slot aired between 11am and noon.  It was great.  Another guest and myself, along with Frances talk about issues that have been in the news over the last couple of days and today topics included Sat Nav’s, annorexia, the north/south divide plus others.

Really enjoyed the experience, and managed to get the website mentioned!

Also today, we’ve uploaded the first of our travel features written by the very experienced and capable Helen Werin.  We’ve been working on getting some of her features, as she’s very good, down to earth and tells it like it is!  Welomce aboard Helen.

Other gossip: Anyone who remembers the days of Radio Trent - may well remember David Lloyd?  He’s joining Radio Nottingham to present the Sunday Morning show.

Until next time. xx

A quick update on the last couple of days.

Tuesday, I went to Chilwell School to see the excellent Lester Simpson perform an evening about his uncle’s journey through the First World war.  it was a very moving evening and well performed.  See the review on our news page.

Yesterday, wednesday, I designed and uploaded the graphic for my blog, which nearly crashed the whole website, as, of course, I managed to do something really simple completely wrong and it sent the whole site made for about half an hour.  Knight in Shining Armour Liam, came to my rescue and managed to put it right again.  So I think I owe him another pint - they’re stacking up I can tell you!

Watched ‘The Apprentice’ - it makes me laugh because to be quite frank I wouldn’t hire any one of them.  All they are good as is talking themselves up to make them sound brilliant, but when they are given tasks to do they are completely hopeless.  And how bitchy…….

Today, Thursday, had a trip to McArthur Glenn shopping outlet.  Quite a good day - felt like some retail therapy.

Speak later.
